Willm Riesling AOC and Clos Gaensbroennel Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Alsace, France

Let’s take a little trip to the Alsace. On the first stop this 2009 bottle Riesling from Alsatian producer Willm shines with golden tones and smells of citrus. I really like how the taste follows up from smell on this wine as the taste takes that citrus flavour and mixes it with flower petal elegance. It tastes kinda like the flower on an orange smells. Hugel Gentil 2009, Alsace, France

We are all guilty of buying at least one bottle of wine because of it's pretty label at least once in our lives. Along those lines, the Gentil “Hugel” 2009 is not a wine you want to pass up because of it's rather homely, outmoded label.
