The Château Falfas 2006 Côtes de Bourg steps into the price range where you will probably pay between 20 and 30 dollars depending on location – but it is a great example of what you can get for you money when you jump a couple steps away from the entry level. With bright, almost candy, berry, rich tannins this wine jumps out at you at forces you to take notice. It is not a new -world wannabe either, it holds classic French blended flavouring, reasonable if not modest oak.
Musical Match: This wine has flare, sass and sophistication ready for any Soul Sister, load up Lady Marmalade on your 8 Track or Ipod.
